Downer/Mouchel JV and CMS Working together on Spit Bridge
Downer Mouchel and EPTEC Services, have together engaged CMS 3rd party coating inspection works on the spit bridge refurbishment project.
The project is being carried out directly for the RMS, and involves the refurbishment of key structural members in the underneath sections of the bridge. These sections are critical in the bridge’s structural integrity. Coating and concrete rehabilitation works were the main focus of this refurbishment.
Being so close to the public, the project needed to be carried out with the aim to minimise the disruption to the public. This included stringent encapsulation requirements, and strict hours of work.
